why *spark stage, then? you can use it as a basic projection mapping tool, fed from other apps via syphon. but the articulating idea in the app is managing a 3D stage. and it’s an idea, i think, with legs.
keynote, the mac presentation app, has long had a beautifully simple trick: lay your content out across slides, and if from one slide to the next you move something around, when presented it will animate from where it was to where you put it next. this app channels that idea of objects persisting across slides, adapting to any tweaks applied across those slides. but the “canvas” is now a 3D world, and you’ve got a full node-based visual programming environment to bring to bear: fabric.
