my niche favourite of the early 2000’s is now mainstream, massive. the literal poster-boy for electronic music as i open apple music. and i’m here for it, literally and figuratively. it was a great set that made the day.
also shout-out to romy’s show earlier. i’d listened to the album and it didn’t stick, but live it really works – amazing vocalist, of course, but also the electro-duelling with band-mate over the table of flashing buttons, visuals that centered them and their work on stage with stylised live camera and bold text.
